- Thereafter he joined as a Paediatric cardiac surgeon at Madras medical Mission, Chennai. He completed his Fellowship in Paediatric cardiac surgery at Royal Alexandra Hospital Children, Westmead and returned to Madras Medical Mission as a Consultant Paediatric and Congenital Heart Surgeon. He relocated to Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Ernakulam as a Consultant Paediatric and Congenital heart surgeon in 2000. He was promoted as a Professor and Chief of Paediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery.His special interests include Neonatal Cardiac Surgery, Cosmetic Congenital Heart Surgeries, Paediatric Valve Reconstructions, Cost Effective Surgical Strategies in Congenital Heart Surgeries and complex Intra-Cardiac Tunnelling.
